ISLAND RETREATS
17-19 JULY
WOMEN'S WEEKEND RETREAT AT ANAHATA
THE VENUE

Come with us to the quiet sunset side of the island for a weekend filled with the things that really make life sweet.
Great food, time in nature, restorative wellness sessions, and plenty of space to relax and lean into the support of a group of wonderful women.
Life tends to pull us in a lot of directions at once. Even living somewhere as beautiful as Samui, it's still easy to get caught up in work, responsibilities, and the constant movement of daily life.
As women, we shoulder a lot of responsibility.
If you've been feeling the strain of carrying it all, then this is for you.
A chance to step away for a few days.
To unplug.
To slow down.
To reconnect with nature, with yourself, and with you community.
No planning. No organization. No pushing yourself to do anything.
. Just the time to be taken care of, pampered in all the right ways, and to experiences practices that leave you feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected long after the weekend ends.

RETREAT FLOW
Day 1: Ground (arrive, unplug, and settle)
Day 2: Connect (soften and build real connection)
Day 3: Embody (integrate and step into alignment)
3 days at Anahata is just what the doctor ordered.
They've got the magic combination of things: food, nature, and wellness. Everything about the space is designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. The onsite Alchemy Cafe and Juice Bar will provide delicious and nutritious meals using local ingredients, many of which come from their own garden. The bungalows offer lovely garden views and are steps away from the beach. With beautiful spaces for yoga and fitness, plus a sauna and spa, Anahata is easily one of our favorite spots to spend a weekend.

MEET YOUR FACILITATORS
Nearly a decade ago, the three of us met in Thailand and our bond quickly became a source of support, growth, and joy. Through all of life’s ups and downs, our love and connection to each other and Thailand has remained constant. That same love and care is infused into every aspect of our retreats.

Retreat Coordinator
Irene Underwood
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Psychology, Irene’s passion for travel and adventure led her to Thailand in 2017, where she fell in love with the culture and built a career centered around travel, education, and human connection. She now runs her own Travel and Experiences company on Koh Samui, curating magical moments for clients from around the world. Known for her bespoke approach, she crafts one-of-a-kind experiences that immerse travelers in the beauty, culture, and spirit of Thailand.
Driven by her belief that human connection is the key to an amazing travel experience, Irene infuses every journey she creates with authenticity, adventure, and heart. At the retreat, she will work behind the scenes with precision and care, ensuring every detail is handled so guests can be fully present in their amazing destination retreat experience. With her deep love for exploration and meaningful experiences, Irene is excited to help create a retreat that stays with you long after it ends.

Yoga and Meditation Teacher
Sarah Arguijo
Sarah’s passion for yoga and meditation began as a personal journey of self-discovery, eventually leading her to leave her career job and dedicate herself fully to yoga practices. She later opened her own yoga studio in Koh Samui, Sangha Yoga Studio, where she is committed to building a nurturing, inclusive community that allows people to connect, grow, and thrive both on and off the mat.
Sarah believes yoga is a holistic practice that unites body, mind, and spirit. At the retreat, she will guide sessions that blend movement, breath, and mindfulness, helping participants explore deeper self-awareness, healing, and personal growth. With a compassionate and intuitive approach, she empowers others to tap into their inner strength, release stress, and cultivate a profound sense of well-being.
Her sessions foster connection, offering a supportive environment where each individual can thrive. Whether through gentle flow, restorative practices, or guided meditation, Sarah’s teachings inspire transformation, relaxation, and inner peace.

Breathwork and Somatic Facilitator
Maeve Downey
Growing up surrounded by nature in Maine, Maeve developed a lifelong connection to the outdoors and a fascination with movement in all forms. Her curiosity about how the mind and body influence one another led her to study Biochemistry at university.
Seeking a new way of living after graduation, Maeve moved to Thailand and was completely captivated by its vibrant culture, language, and breathtaking landscapes. Immersing herself in Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and mindfulness practices, she later discovered flow arts, breathwork and somatic experiencing—modalities that felt like the perfect synthesis of her passions.
Maeve’s mission is to anchor you fully into the present moment and access the incredible healing power of your mind-body connection. As a certified breathwork facilitator, somatic experiencing guide, yoga instructor, hula hoop flow teacher, and mindfulness trainer, Maeve loves to create safe environments in which you can explore your inner world through awareness, breath, and movement.
